Episode: At the bar with Quinn


(After the proposing, Robin and Frank went into a bar. Quinn there showed up again and seemed drunk when Frank was absent for a second. Quinn came to Robin and talked to her...)

弗兰克向罗宾求婚后，他们进了一家酒吧。奎恩又在那里出现了，看上去有一点喝醉了。当弗兰克离开了一小会儿的时候，奎恩向罗宾走来对她说道

Quinn: I always thought this was a beautiful island. But with you here, it's even more beautiful.

Robin: [Scoffs]（嘲笑）

Quinn: How long have been on Makatea?你来Makatea多长时间了？

Robin: You're kidding, right?你在开玩笑吧？

Quinn: Oh, no. Never bite the hand that feeds, uh, your mouth... whatever. Besides, you know, they're... they're good for a laugh.

Quinn: Oh. Yeah. Hn-huh. They come here looking for 'the magic', expecting to find romance when they can't find it any other place.

(Frank came back...)

Frank: Hey, is everything okay?没有什么吧？

Quinn: Well, hi, nice to see you again.很高兴在这里遇见你。

Frank: Yeah, you too.

Quinn: Let me buy you a drink.让我请你喝一杯吧。

Frank: Oh, that's very...

Robin: (to Frank) Let's go.我们走吧。

Frank: (to Quinn) Oh, but we're leaving, and so...不用了，我们这就走了。

Quinn: Well, maybe some other time...或许将来的什么时候吧。

Robin: Ta-ta. (Note: Bye-bye.)

Robin and Frank were leaving...)

Quinn: (talked to himself) I'll buy you a drink. Okay, bye.

注释：show up:1.be conspicous,easily visible 显眼，易见

Her wrinkles showed up in the strong sunlinght.在强烈的阳光下她的皱纹很显眼。

2.be present出席.Only two of those invited to the party did not show up.
